Christian d.4.´s søn, Den Udvalgte Prins Christian skal giftes, og i den anledning afholder kongen en stor turnering i ridekunst og våbenbrug.

Medvirkende: 6 skuespillere, 4 ryttere, 4 heste, 3 musikere og diverse væbnere, hofdamer, terner etc.

Musik af John Dowland, Thomas Robinson og Heinrich Schütz m.fl. spillet af Trio Royal.

“Who's Christian the fourth?”, cry the tourists. 

Well, we'll tell you.

In come the troupe of players.  

The King is unwell and they are here to brighten his day

 And so begins the play. 

With words, drama, fencing and music we create a historical theatre experience filled with humor, depicting the life of the great King: His family, society, wars, politics, buildings and the state of the country during his reign. 

The three actors and two musicians entertain and educate the crowd with a forty five minute performance playing numerous roles.

The timing can vary and the amount of times we play is negotiable.

“Chr. 4´s Liv og Levned”:

Kongen har det ikke godt og vil opmuntres af sin yndlings underholdning, musik og skuespil.

Derfor kommer teater-truppen til byen.

På deres vej op til kongen´s slot, stopper truppen op for at fortælle om Chr.4´s liv.

En skør, actionpakket forestilling med sang og musik, fægtescener etc.
